Advanced Industrial Science and Technology(AIST),Japan has developed a Humanoid Robot that can do constructional work. In  this video it is being demonstrated that how the HRP-5P works in real,installing a dry wall.

Single device that can collect energy from sun and outer space simultaneously.

Courtesy:Linda Cicero, Stanford News Stanford scientists has demonstrated for the first time that heat from the sun and coldness from outer space can be collected simultaneously. The above image shows the apparatus,a double-layered rooftop panel.The top layer uses the standard semiconductor materials that go into energy-harvesting solar cells, the novel materials on the bottom layer perform the cooling task. Levitate object with sound wave(Acoustic Tweezers).

Courtesy: Asier Marzo,Sergio Larripa,Bruce Drinkwater  Professor Bruce Drinkwater ,Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Bristol, and Dr Asier Marzo,Universidad Publica De Navarra,Spain took the sound engineering to another level.Bruce and his team developed a  model of acoustic tweezers which can handle multiple object with an ease.His team programmed  an array of mini speakers which can manipulate the position of objects.The advancement in the development of acoustic tweezers will let surgeons to do their job without touching the patients.
