Two researchers got nobel prize in medicine for discovering a mechanism to make immune system enable to fight cancer

James Allison and Tasuku Honjo discovered proteins that ‘brake’ the immune system.Both were working since 1990.

Dr. Allison, 70, is the chairman of immunology,University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. 
Dr. Honjo, 76, is professor,Kyoto University. 
The two will share the roughly $1.01 million prize money.
