3D printed cells!

This image of cells that were made fluorescent shows how they are printed in complex structures for the purpose of producing tissue such as tendons and ligaments. Courtesy: Robby Bowels,University of Utah College of Engineering A group of biomedical researchers from University of Utah developed a process of 3D- printing of cells to produce tissues(ligaments and tendons).A person suffering from damaged/ruptured ligament or tendons now can be treated with these 3- dimensional printed tissues.

Bio-electronic Medicine!

Save heat from summer to use it in winter.

Credit: Yen Strandqvist/Chalmers University of Technology A group of researchers from Chalmers University of Technology,Sweden developed a specially designed molecule which can store solar energy. The leader of the research team, Kasper Moth-Poulsen, Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, says  "The energy in this isomer can now be stored for up to 18 years. And when we come to extract the energy and use it, we get a warmth increase which is greater than we dared hope for"
